Northfield Summer Road Race Series
The Northfield Summer Road Race Series began in 2011 by Bob Emberley and in 2026 is part of the Northfield Recreation Commission for a third year!!
General information:
The Northfield Summer Road Race Series begins the first Thursday of June, and runs through August. It's a weekly 3.1 mile (5K) race that starts at 6:30pm from the back parking lot of 105 Main St. in Northfield. Registrations begin at 6pm. Cost is $5 per runner with a max of $10 per family. (Members of school cross country or track teams run for free!) Please create an account (if you haven't yet) and fill out an online waiver (good for the season). Please bring cash directly to each race you attend.
Walkers are welcome and can start early and/or take a shorter course.
Everyone gets a prize from our great award table packed with items from local businesses, farm stands, and homemade cookies and treats.
