Northfield Summer Road Race Series

The Northfield Summer Road Race Series began in 2011 by Bob Emberley and in 2025 is  part of the Northfield Recreation Commission for a second year!! Luckily, Bob will still continue to be the organizer and much will remain the same!

General information:
The Northfield Summer Road Race Series begins the first Thursday of June, and runs through August. It's a weekly 3.1 mile (5K) race that starts at 6:30pm from the back parking lot of 105 Main St. in Northfield. Registrations begin at 6pm. Cost is $5 per runner with a max of $10 per family. (Members of school cross country or track teams run for free!)

Walkers are welcome and can start early and/or take a shorter course.

Everyone gets a prize from our great award table packed with items from local businesses, farm stands, and homemade cookies and treats.
