Beginner Cheerleading was a successful new program for Northfield Recreation started in 2022 by Cheer Coach, Magen Macdougall and her daughter. This year we have added Assistant Coach Bethany to the program. They will start cheerleading from the ground up and then build upon what was introduced last year. The Cheerleaders will perform during half time at NRC basketball games at the Northfield Elementary School gym that are on Saturday mornings from January 2024 until the end of February 2024. Times will be determined once the basketball schedule is out end of Dec.

Practices will be twice a week this year at the Northfield Elementary School on Mondays and Thursdays from 5 to 6pm in the gym starting December 4th 2023 until Feb 29th 2024. To register it is $45. Registration begins same time as basketball, on November 6th 2023.

This is a co-ed sport for grades 1st to 6th.
