NRC Girls BB wins Reserve Champion at Vernon Invitational 2023-2024
Welcome to NRC Youth Basketball season 2024-2025!

All practices and home games are at Northfield Elementary School gym.

Registration begins online 10/21/24. Most practices begin first week of December. (Senior Girls and Senior Boys begin in November). Juniors and Seniors games begin in January on Saturday mornings. Season ends at the end of February.

  • First Hoops Littles co-ed – PreK to K $30 (Coach Carleigh. Practices 1x/week Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm. Practice starts Dec. 5th [no practices Dec. 19th & 26th] and goes until end of Feb.)
  • First Hoops Bigs co-ed – 1st to 2nd $30 (Coach Amy. Practices 1x/week Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm. Practice starts Dec. 4th)
  • Junior *Co-ed – grades 3rd to 4th $45 (Coach Isaac and Coach Alec. Practices 1x/week Tuesdays 4:45-5:45. Practice starts Tuesday Dec. 3rd)
*If there are enough 3rd and 4th GIRLS to make a team, we will look for a coach and create their own team!
  • Senior Girls - grades 5th to 6th $45 (Coach Jon and Coach Jeroen. Practices 2x/week Mon 3:30-4:30pm and Thurs 3:30-4:30pm. Practice starts Mon Nov 4th) 
  • Senior Boys – grades 5th to 6th $45 (Coach Courtney and Coach John. Practices 2x/week Tues & Fri 3:30-4:45pm. Regular practice starts Dec. 3rd). For the month of November, we will hold an Open Gym for Sr Boys team on Fridays from 3:30-4:45pm beginning November 8th and ending November 29th.
(Please note for 3:30pm practices for kids attending NES: parents will have the option to have child dismissed as a walker to coach or parent, *PLEASE SEND NOTE INTO SCHOOL*, but need to wait until 3:30 until we have access to gym. If any kids are a behavioral concern, we will require the parent to be there).

This year we are going to lend out our nice numbered 2-sided tank top basketball pinnies rather than purchase t-shirts for the teams playing games. The pinnies are reversable (blue and white) and it's parents responsibility to return the pinnies, washed, at the end of the season.
